Our Campus
The University of Michigan campus may seem big at first, but it’s easy to get around!
Central Campus comprises the “original” campus, and includes administrative buildings, museums, Hill Auditorium, the Law School, and classrooms for many liberal-arts courses.
North Campus is where the colleges of Engineering, Architecture, Music, and Art are located. North Campus is also the location of the brand-new Walgreen Drama Center.
South Campus houses most of the intercollegiate athletics facilities, including Crisler Arena and “The Big House,” Michigan’s world-famous football stadium.
Free commuter buses run between the three campuses as well as back and forth to the Medical campus. The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority also provides free bus rides to U-M students, faculty, and staff with I.D. You can also walk or bike. Driving is not recommended on campus. Everything in Ann Arbor is close!
